The UC Irvine Health Women's Healthcare Center offers a full range of consultative and treatment services for patients of all ages. The Act would require the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct a study every 5 years on women's health and report their findings to Congress, looking specifically at the impact of state laws that restrict access to abortion and geographic regions where access to family planning services is limited.

It takes approximately six years for someone to become a women's health nursing practitioner, beginning with a formal degree as an RN. In addition, nurses are required to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing science, as well as a master's degree in nursing science.
