The competition is still stiff, and med schools have in no way lowered their expectations for the caliber of students they wish to enroll. Once you get into an undergraduate program in the United States, they should be able to help you with your application for dentistry. As far as I know, this is very difficult, due to very deep integral integration of medical curricula in the US - though it could be possible.
