Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Eligibility Requirements

The Kentucky Children’s Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) is free or low-cost health insurance for children younger than 19 without health insurance. It is vitally concerned with all aspects of children’s growth and development and with the unique opportunity that each child has to achieve their full potential as a healthy adult. With nearly 3 million children impacted to date, HKHF is now part of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois’ ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of the children and families across Illinois.
