A skilled staff, over half bilingual, provides personalized care, with decades of experience helping families improve their health and well-being. We offer fifteen week individual counselling and group therapy which employs a feminist, woman-centered approach that focuses on strengths, capabilities, resources and is aligned with anti-oppressive practice. At Women’s Health Institute, we’re northern New Mexico’s close-to-home resource for a full spectrum of health care. Nurses, particularly those specialising in menopause, are crucial to the services offered by WHC and the BMS. To examine these topics the VA Office of Women’s Health Services awarded a contract to Altarum Institute, a non-profit independent health research organization.

Presently, 89 percent of counties nationally lack abortion clinics, and hundreds of laws have been passed at the state and federal level to restrict a women’s access to reproductive health services and family planning services. Expert obstetricians at our San Antonio clinic offers comprehensive obstetrical care for each of our patients, from prenatal to postpartum care. The editorial board members of the Journal of Women’s Health Care or outside experts review the manuscripts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript. Boston Medical Center (BMC) is a 496-bed academic medical center located in Boston’s historic South End, providing medical care for infants, children, teens and adults.
These primary care providers all have demonstrated training beyond their traditional field of expertise, ensuring the incorporation of ambulatory, gynecologic care, mental health screening, and assessment for interpersonal violence, for example, into routine health care.
To ensure women are fully informed about their rights and health care options, the Act would launch a public awareness campaign among community-based organizations, pharmacists, providers and other stakeholders making sure that women have information and access to the services available to them.
