What Is Homeopathy?
We present encyclopedic list of homeopathic medicines segregated by brands and ailments on our online homeopathic medicine site for quick easy reference and look up. This is supplemented by a no-sweat remedy finder in the form of clinical repertory list where drugs can be looked up against specific ailments. I am interested in learning whether the FDA has: (1) received evidence that any homeopathic remedy, now marketed in this country, is effective against any disease or health problem; (2) concluded that any homeopathic product now marketed in the United States is effective against any health problem or condition; (3) concluded that homeopathic remedies are generally effective; or (4) concluded that homeopathic remedies are generally not effective.

Because homeopathic medicines need to be individually prescribed to the unique pattern of symptoms that sick people experience, controlled studies must be sensitive to this therapeutic requirement in order to adequately and accurate test this medical system.
Furthermore, the standards to present a case at a homeopathic conference or to submit it to publication are rigorous: It must be clear that the prescribed homeopathic medicine has been effective over a period of months or years and that lab values have improved if relevant, and there are often videotaped case records to provide evidence of the results.
Some homeopathic remedies are so diluted that not even a single molecule of the active agent remains in a solution, yet it still works; studies have demonstrated this paradox, yet can’t explain it. Also, homeopathy puts an emphasis on analyzing symptoms and then applying remedies to these symptoms, rather than working by classifying diseases.
